KW9 is a prime location for anyone who wants to work according to their needs in a most inspirational working place in the heart of Amsterdam. KW9 is equipped with good facilities, art and wonderful people, so that everyone can run their own program.
The rooms on the ground floor and in the basement together form a perfect unity for inspiration days, meetings, training, (network-) events for larger groups, but they can also to be booked separately.
The remaining rooms are furnished for meetings for 2 to 3 persons.
The Basement is the oldest part of the building. The original (low) beam ceiling gives it special intimacy and offers space for groups up to 16 persons. In combination with the ground floor, you have a totally self-supporting unit, with your own front door that offers you a generous space to work plenary and/or with smaller groups.
From the reception area there is a spectacular view on the canal and the former ‘Scheepvaarthuis’. Behind the sliding doors is a meeting room (with its own pantry), which is suitable for about 10 persons.

On the first floor the large table offers a nice workspace for in between appointments and everybody is received with coffee and tea. This room is provided with a superbly equipped kitchen, so it is also very suitable for private dinners and events with food and drinks up to a maximum of 25 persons.
This can’t be booked through the app, but can only be booked on request.
Also called the ‘King’s Chamber’ or the Green room; apparently this is a room that invites to be nicknamed.
The room is suitable for regal coach meetings and groups up to 6 persons.
A room very suitable for stillness. A room where the sound of the city is least heard, where the view offers the least distraction and flax-work from New Zealand enhances the walls.
This room of course also has a beam construction ceiling, but moreover also a roof terrace, which has a stunning view over the historic inner city (and how some of the garden courtyards over the centuries have been covered with the strangest constructions). This room is suitable up to a maximum of 3 persons.
All the rooms have a Nespresso machine and a well filled tea box. In the kitchen you can fill a thermos flask with boiling water from the Quooker. The most rooms are provided with a flip over. A beamer and film screen are available on request.
Both on the ground floor, as on the first floor, you can find the so called ‘Walhalla’ drawers, these drawers have everything you might need, from felt tips to aspirins.
KW9 is equipped with a secured Wi-Fi network.
